Look to the West for fall fashion influences.
“We are seeing lots of western looks. Not only bandanas but even bandana prints,” said Samantha Burke of Gray Boutique on Palafox in Pensacola.
“Trousers and pants are definitely trending as well. Poplin and taffeta are big for fabric. For jeans, we have a bit of everything. Baby barrel jeans are still going strong. Making a comeback are slim and straight leg. Trends are fun but don’t follow if it doesn’t flatter,” said Burke, noting that she personally wears denim that works for her body type — trendy or not.
Fall/winter 2026 hues are saturated and rich: regal purple, chocolate brown, deep ocean blue and magenta.
Shoes and scarves are surging as a fun way to accessorize for fall. Tie scarves at the neck but also at the waist — or wear oversized varieties as halter tops. Equestrian and nature-inspired motifs are among trending prints.
Look for “lots of great suede and leather loafers, boots in rich chocolate browns. Mary Janes are a great choice as well,” said Burke.

best fall has to offer. An animal-print long-sleeve top in rich complementary hues pulls the look together. All by Lysse.

Accessory interest includes a print scarf and oversized striped tote.
Summer Sevi
A piece of November, model Summer Sevi’s family history rests in the Museum of Naval Aviation.
Sevi’s aviator father, Al Sevi, and a fellow serviceman co-owned a small Cessna plane, which they ultimately donated to the museum where it remains today. Inside the glove box of the plane, which rests in the soaring glass atrium, is a handwritten note signed by both of them.
“I love knowing it is still tucked away inside the aircraft all these years later, almost like a tiny time capsule,” said Sevi.
As far as Sevi’s own life path, creativity is the theme woven throughout.
“I’m happiest when I’m making something that didn’t exist before,” she said, describing painting as her “first love.”
She holds a fine art degree from UWF as well as a teaching certificate. She instructed art for a decade before becoming an entrepreneur.
“In 2020, I founded Alla Prima Coffee Roaster in Pensacola. What began as a small coffee roasting company has since grown to include our flagship cafe, a wholesale roasting operation serving other businesses throughout the region, a presence at Palafox Market, and our cafe inside the MC Blanchard Judicial Building.”
Sevi’s greatest indulgence has to be travel.
“Give me an ancient ruin, an old city and a great cup of coffee, and I can happily disappear for the day. I’m endlessly fascinated by how other cultures live, eat, create and gather.”
Spending her earliest years on Pensacola Beach imprinted a love for the coast.
“I love being near the water, exploring the small communities along the coast, finding great food and excellent coffee, visiting galleries and museums, and taking advantage of the fact that there is always somewhere interesting to wander.”
